Gotta Love Denver...Its So Close To America!

Did my usual Saturday visit to the huge Asian market to pick up some sashimi today...I could not find one of my regular ones, so I waited till one of the guys came by that actually spoke English and he sees me looking perplexed and walks over to me says (in perfect English) can i help you, so I start telling him what I am looking for, and Im telling him I cant believe how hot it is, and this and that, I had an entire conversation with him mind you , when a girl that works there comes up to me and says, he doesn't understand ANY English! WTF??? I just had an entire conversation with this guy, he was smiling and shaking his head as if he understood, yet apparently nto a word of it made any sense to him.... do I just seem to attract these people that don't speak English into my life?

Whats the deal?

So I head over the grocery store and get stopped at the entrance by two guys selling tootsie rolls to benefit disabled folks... I go to Walmart there are a few kids at the entrance stopping me to give money for homeless children, I go to get gas as I am pumping the gas a lady walks up to me and asks for money! WTF???
This stuff is out of control! Why do these business allow these people to panhandle in front of their business? Its bad enough they have the self checkout lanes where they expect me to not only pay their over inflated prices, but then I have to ring up my own items and bag them too AND then get the "please help us sir" routine upon entry and again when I leave the store too!
Now please don't get me wrong, I would love to help out everyone of these so called organizations and groups...(how do we even know which is legit and which is not?)but it will have to wait till I win the lottery!

BE Careful At The Gas Pump...

This first happened to me a few days ago and I thought to myself,, hmm thats weird..but when it happened again this morning at a different gas station I realized this was not my imagination! Here's the deal.. we are used to reading left to right, right? Well some gas stations have pulled two, not just one fast ones on us! So beware... the first is as long as I can remember the regular gas has always been on the left, well these slimes have moved the more expensive premium to the left and the regular to the right, yes they have flipped sides, I cannot figure out why other then to get people to pump premium when they think it is regular! What other reason could it be? In addition the YES NO buttons,, (like do you want a car wash)are changing spots to , YES was ALWAYS on the left, now they are moving it to the right! CRAZY huh,, BE CAREFUL! Make sure you know what you are paying for.

So, I was just pondering and I may just be opening myself up here for some interesting comments ...oh well here goes. Here's a picture of me and Cindy Brady from a few years back. I think she looks pretty good here, and I think I look pretty good too, if I must say so myself. Here's the real question now, when I shot that video yesterday and could not believe how bad she looked as compared to the last time I saw her, what if I look bad now too? I realize I was much thinner in the picture of course, I just hope I am wrong here about myself... Then and now that is!
